In the last few years Colorado finally got In-N-Out Burger, Buc-ee’s, and Whatabuger, so it’s about time we get an Aldi now too, right?
Colorado is one of just a few states in America that doesn’t have Aldi stores. The German-based company has stores in nearly 20 countries and almost 40 U.S. states.
It was announced back in March of 2024 that Aldi will be bringing 800 more stores to America, so Colorado is ripe for picking, and some folks think plans were just submitted for our first.
Plans have been officially shared with the city of Fort Collins to build a brand-new grocery store. According to the Coloradoan, the grocery store plans to be one-story, 18,000 square feet, and 85 parking spaces… Criteria for an Aldi says the building needs to be at least 18,000 square feet and have at least 85 parking spots for its customers. Hmmmmm!
