How much ‘pre-Thanksgiving’ snow will Denver get?

It’s too early to start talking about a white Christmas in Denver, but it sure looks like we’re going to have a “white Thanksgiving.”
As AAA estimates there will be a record number of cars on the road for the holiday in 2025, Mother Nature may make that travel tougher.
Our partners at 9News say, the mountains in Colorado could see 1-2 feet of snow, but the Denver area and Front Range will likely see some slushier snow before Thanksgiving Day. Denver will get some rain/snow that will likely flip to all snow overnight Tuesday night into Wednesday morning, with a few slushy inches of accumulation likely, mostly on Wednesday morning. It will snow most of Wednesday with little or no additional accumulation. Higher totals are likely west and south of Denver above 6,000 feet in elevation, where a few spots could pick up more than six inches of accumulation by the time the snow winds down later on Wednesday.
