I love a good redemption story, so if anyone’s going to win big playing the lottery I hope it’s a guy like this…
Jonathan G, a cellphone sales representative from Alamosa, Colorado, recently won $1-million after purchasing a $20 scratch-off ticket from a Walmart Supercenter during a difficult workday.
The winning ticket was part of the 200X Scratch game run by the Colorado Lottery, which lists the odds of winning the $1-million prize at about one in 1,080,000.
Jonathan, who previously experienced periods of unemployment and lived in a shelter before securing stable housing, says he plans to use his winnings to help support his girlfriend and children.
