Normally the Farmers’ Almanac is pretty vague with their predictions, and thus they can claim they are accurate 80-85% of the time. However, they are being pretty bold with their prediction for fall in Colorado this year.
After what seemed like the hottest summer ever on the front range of Colorado, this may be welcomed news from the 206-year-old outlet, though.
According to the Old Farmers’ Almanac, fall in the North Central region, which includes Colorado, “may be downright frigid, with lots of fall flakes and rain.”
Halloween may be a bit gusty in the state, according to the prediction. The outlet also predicts that Nov. 8-11 could see an early-season, heavy snowfall.
Fall officially starts September 22nd.
