Pumpkin Spice Lattes have already been in coffee shops for a month, and the Spirit Halloween stores are all open, so I guess it’s time to go leaf peeping now, right?!
Fall colors are already emerging throughout Colorado, appearing ahead of the typical mid-to-late September peak due to ongoing drought conditions in the region.
According to the 9NEWS Weather Impact Team, some of the colors in Colorado will actually already reach their peak this weekend and into next week (Sept. 10-22).
Colorado’s northern mountains will be the area that peaks the earliest. The central mountains peak from mid-September through the last week of the month. For our southern mountains, it’s the end of September into the first week of October.
