Connect with Denver’s Next Generation by Joining Generation Schools Network for a 2025 Back to School Fest — Denver Days Career and Job Fair
Saturday August 2, 2025 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the National Western Center Riverwalk
Denver, CO — June 19, 2025 — Generation Schools Network announced today that local businesses are invited to partner on a career and job fair that will reach more than 10,000 Colorado students and their families. This year, two of Denver’s annual community traditions, the Silva Family Foundation’s Back to School Festival at Sloan’s Lake and Birdseed Collective’s celebration of the Globeville, Elyria-Swansea (GES) neighborhoods, are teaming up with other local businesses for Denver Days, a citywide event that will take place Saturday, August 2, 2025 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the National Western Center, 4797 National Western Dr., Denver, CO. 80216. Businesses must register as partners by July 23, 2025.
Students who attend the career and job fair will have an opportunity to meet with professionals for resume and interview support and talk about job possibilities—ensuring every young person who attends leaves more confident and prepared for their future. In addition, there will be free backpacks and school supplies available for students, live entertainment, health and wellness resources, and so much more. For partnering businesses, it is a great opportunity to reach a lot of potential future employees in one setting through participation and sponsorship.

Local businesses can partner in this event with a $500 sponsorship and can expect:
- Direct Hiring Opportunities: Motivated teens and young adults ready to step into part-time roles, internships, and apprenticeships.
- Career Prep Stations: Professionals providing resume reviews, mock interviews, and guest-speakers featuring local industry leaders.
- Strong Community Impact and Recognition: Partner businesses can fill open positions, help prepare their employee pipeline and invest in Denver’s future workforce, strengthening neighborhoods across the metro area.
