Sloan’s Lake’s Dragon Boat Festival returns this weekend

With almost 200,000 people expected to be in attendance, the 26th annual Colorado Dragon Boat Festival returns Saturday to Sloan’s Lake celebrating Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander Culture.
The Opening Ceremony will commence at the Band Stage at 9:45 a.m. on Saturday and the festival will be Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Dragon Boat Races will begin daily at 8 a.m.
Performances will be held throughout both days at the festival’s 360 stage, Band Stage and Performing Arts stage.
There is no parking available on site, but there will be free shuttles to and from the festival from Auraria Campus with parking available at 5th Street Garage ($15), Cherry Lot ($10) and Elm Lot ($10).
