There is a free ice skating rink in Denver this winter

Dec 13, 2024, 4:14 PM | Updated: 4:15 pm

There are a ton of holiday events and things to do around Denver, but few are free… Here is one that is (with a catch of course).

The Downtown Denver Rink, located at 1601 Arapahoe St. in downtown Denver, just off the 16th Street Mall is open for the winter.

The rink, which will stay open through Feb. 2, has different hours depending on dates. It is also open on all major holidays including Christmas day. Get the full schedule here.

Skating is free, but if you don’t have ice skates, you’ll have to rent those. Rentals for adults are $12, with lower prices for children 12 and under and people who are first responders or in the military. The rink also offers skate aid rentals for $6.
