Denver’s 107 year old Civic Center Park getting revitalized

After over 100 years, Denver’s Civic Center Park will be getting a big facelift to the price tag of $70 million.
The Civic Center Park Conservancy has already raised around $50 million for the project with about $20 million left to fund.
Much of the renovations will be around The Greek Amphitheater, which itself which has been the landing point for countless concerts, events, rally’s and more over the last 100+ years.
Other improvements are already in the work with the City of Denver planning on bringing Civic Center Park its first full service restaurant.
Other features that will be getting upgrades include the historic McNichols Building, the Central promenade and the South Plaza.
