Denver News Anchor is Retiring After Nearly 40 Years This Week

You have to be GREAT at what you do to get to do it at a top level for 40 years. That’s been the case for Denver7’s Anne Trujillo will be stepping down from her position on Thursday after nearly 40 years on the air in Denver.
Trujillo has been on Denver TV since 1984, when she started her career as a general assignment reporter. Since then, she’s anchored the 5 pm, 6 pm, and 10 pm newscasts for more than 39 years. She’s spent her entire time in Denver on the air at KMGH-TV, winning several Emmy awards. She was there when the first flight left DIA, when the Broncos won the Super Bowl (multiple times) and so much more.
