Denver could see three straight hundred-degree days for third time ever

Jul 8, 2024, 4:25 PM | Updated: Jul 9, 2024, 11:23 am

I hope you enjoyed the cooler temperatures we had around Denver yesterday, July 7, because boy, is it about to get hot!

According to our friends at 9News, as it stands right now, we have the potential to see 100 degrees in Denver for at least three days in a row starting on Friday, July 12.

Since 1872, there are only 15 instances of the city’s official weather station hitting 100 degrees on consecutive days, and only twice has it happened three days in a row.

  • July 19-21, 2012
  • June 15-17, 2021

There’s also been one four-day stretch and we’ve hit 100 degrees for five straight days three times.

I hope you have a swimming pool available to use!
