Denver Christkindlmarket Moves to Auraria Campus

Nov 28, 2025, 3:00 PM

The Denver Christkindlmarket is one of the city’s biggest holiday traditions, and this year it’s in a new home. Due to ongoing construction at Civic Center Park, the market has temporarily moved to the Auraria Campus for the 2025 season.

But the new location hasn’t come without some early challenges. One of the biggest complaints during opening weekend was the cost of parking, with many visitors surprised by the higher rates on campus.

On Tuesday, the Christkindlmarket announced that the Auraria Campus has officially lowered night and weekend parking prices on its surface lots to help improve the visitor experience.

The new parking rate is now $15 per day, down from the usual $25 daily rate.

In a statement on Facebook, the Christkindlmarket team said:
“We want to extend a huge thank you to Auraria Campus for working with us to make The Denver Christkindlmarket a bit more accessible and affordable for everyone.”

Denver Christkindlmarket Hours

Monday–Thursday: 1 PM – 9 PM
Friday–Sunday: 11 AM – 9 PM
Now open through December 23rd.

Whether you’re stopping by for the food, the gifts, or a warm cup of glühwein, this year’s market is ready to welcome Denver—with more affordable parking along the way.
