Denver, CO — Last night, Oct 25, the Marconi Radio Awards recognized several stations for their outstanding performances in broadcasting. 98.5 KYGO took home the “Country Station of the Year” award at the event dubbed, “Radios Biggest Night”.

Established in 1989, the awards are named after inventor and Nobel Prize winner Guglielmo Marconi. As explained by the association these prestigious awards recognize stations and individuals for their excellence and performance in radio.

Not only was 98.5 KYGO there to represent Country Music Stations, the station represented Colorado Radio as the only centennial state winners. The award is heavily attributed to how the station reaches and serves its audience as well as its commitment to the community.

The National Association of Broadcasters hosted the awards in New York celebrating stations across the country. 98.5 KYGO thanks loyal listeners for helping the station win one of the highest honors in radio, 2023 Country Station of the Year.

Return later for more coverage on the awards and words from our team!
