If your baseball team is going to be terrible like the Colorado Rockies, you’ve got to do something to get people in the stands… The Rockies are doing it with cheap beer!
New research has revealed the Major League Baseball stadiums that charge fans the most money for a beer, and Coors Field has been found to sell beer at the cheapest price.
The study from betting tips, predictions, and news site FlashPicks, aims to find the most hated stadium in the MLB. All 30 official Major League Baseball stadiums were ranked against 10 different factors, some of which include, the price of a hot dog, the cost of parking, the average attendance, the team’s home record, traffic density around the stadium, and even the chance of rain.
One factor honed in the price of a beer, as many baseball fans enjoy watching the game with a cold one. The study found that the average Rockies fan will pay just $243 in total to buy a beer at each home game across the MLB season, that’s just $3 a pop. In comparison, Washington Nationals fans will pay a whopping $1,214.19 across the season.
