Sure, the snow we got last week was a bit of a hassle if you had to drive in it or shovel it, but it also brought out the best in some…
A truck driver from Dallas, who’d been stranded in Kiowa, Colorado, for three days due to the severe snow, was finally able to resume his journey with help from some local residents.
After his truck slid off the road during the storm, Kevin Gurley found support from the community, including the fire department, sheriff’s office, and local churches. Despite their best efforts, it took three days to finally get his truck towed, when a team effort freed him to continue his trip.
Grateful for the hospitality and support, he was relieved to get back on the road.
