Here’s proof that for the right price people will buy/live just about anywhere…
The infamous home in Frederick, Colorado where Chris Watts murdered his murdered his pregnant wife and two young daughters has found a buyer for the second time since the crime occurred there.
According to property records, the home has been pending sale since Wednesday (July 3).
It was first put on the market in April for $775,000, followed by a price cut down to $750,000 at the end of April, and a second price cut in May had the home listed at $749,500 when it entered into pending sale status.
The 4,177-square-foot property includes five bedrooms and four bathrooms, and plenty of, I’ll call them, talking points…
The Watts family purchased the home in 2013 for $399,954. For nearly four years after the 2018 crimes, the home remained vacant until it was purchased in 2022 for $600,000, according to property records. No word on why the first family lived in it for such a short amount of time… Ghosts? Curiosity causing people to try and get a peek in? Just the thought of what happened there? Who knows!
