How Your Donation Works
Law enforcement officers nominate children in need. Each officer warrants that he/she has personal knowledge of each child, and agrees to purchase gifts with the donated money or pick up donated gifts at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel DTC, 7801 E. Orchard Road, Greenwood Village, CO 80111, to be delivered to each child by Christmas Day. The children’s names are entered into the Christmas Crusade computer system, wherein each child is given an identification number. This allows each child to be confidentially tracked throughout the process and ensures that each child will get a gift. 98.5 KYGO on-air personalities tell the stories of individual children soliciting pledges of new, unwrapped toys.
Listeners like you respond by donating online above. Sponsors follow up by donating gifts and/or bringing the gifts to the Christmas Crusade Headquarters where they are bagged, tagged and passed along to the child’s nominating officer for delivery. Gifts can be dropped off at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel DTC, no later than Thursday, December 17th. Gifts for non-sponsored children are purchased through cash donations to the Christmas Crusade, which is a non-profit organization as described in section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
2020 will be a challenging year for us all and especially challenging for children due to COVID-19. Please help us brighten the smiles of our children in our communities.
Thanks for your generosity and support!

About the Crusade
The KYGO Christmas Crusade for Children was first organized in 1983 by a small group of “Santa Cops.” The Christmas Crusade for Children is a program designed to enable city, state police and sheriff’s department personnel to bring the joy of Christmas to underprivileged children. Over the years, more than 30 law enforcement agencies continue the work of familiarizing themselves with individual family situations, and specifically with the needs and holiday “wish lists” of the children. Through 2019, the Christmas Crusade has touched over 300,000 children, thanks to the combined outreach by thousands of law enforcement officers, KYGO radio listeners, major businesses and concerned individual Coloradans.
