Chicken chain Bojangles opens first Colorado location

I wouldn’t say there is a need for more fast food fried chicken joints in Colorado, but judging by the lines at Raising Canes and Chick-fil-A, if you build it, they will come…

Carolina-based fast-food joint Bojangles, known for its fried chicken and biscuits, has come west for the first time. Entrepreneur Lissette Amiel and franchisee LVP Restaurant Group have a twenty-location unit deal to open stores around Las Vegas, as well as ten TravelCenters of America locations across the west. Two of those were slated for Colorado, and the first just opened on July 8 at the TA center at 1275 Drew Dix Parkway in Pueblo.

A second is expected to open in the Denver area in the “next year or so.”

At this time, there are no plans for a traditional, standalone Bojangles in Colorado.
