Casa Bonita Ditches Their Traditional Pink Color, Gets a New Paint Job

Casa Bonita is a legendary, no matter how you feel about the food. We all know the restaurant is undergoing an extensive remodel since it was purchased by South Park creators, Trey Parker and Matt Stone, and the general public just got it’s first glimpse at some of the change.

The iconic Mexican restaurant on Colfax in Lakewood just got a new paint job. The baby pink is gone, and it’s been replaced with a more bold, almost neon pink color.

Sadly, I still have no update to give you on when the restaurant will reopen, but they are doing some good in the meantime by continuing to employ the restaurant’s workers, providing bilingual classes on the house while the restaurant remains closed. The workers are also using this time to volunteer at Habitat for Humanity (and similar organizations) and build camaraderie.
