Bus to Show offers concertgoers safe rides across Denver metro

Jun 5, 2026, 12:37 PM | Updated: 1:00 pm

We might be a tad bit biased, but nothing beats the feeling of a good concert — especially in the summer! Mix together a little dancing and some killer tunes (and an ice-cold beverage if that’s your inclination) and you’ve got a surefire recipe for a good time.

But before you can bask in the glow of your favorite artists, you actually have to make it to the venue — and we all know what a pain that can be. From expensive Ubers to difficult parking situations to that dreaded hike up the hill to Red Rocks, the “getting there” is not always an easy task. But what if there was a better way?

The Arvada-based nonprofit Bus to Show is up for the challenge. The organization has its own fleet of school buses used to safely transport people to and from concerts. The buses pick-up their riders from designated bars, breweries and eateries across the Denver metro area and drop them off right at the venue gates. The Bus to Show website makes it easy to find your closest pick-up location. But this service is about more than just convenience.

According to its website, by getting everyone on a bus, Bus to Show helps prevent impaired driving. The nonprofit says: “Bus to Show is, at its core, designed to save lives by being the most accessible and fun option on the road. Why drive when you could enjoy the freedom of being driven while hanging out with friends?”

At the same time, Bus to Show also works to reduce the amount of fuel consumption that results from events. “Each bus in our fleet saves ~500 gallons of fuel every season,” it says.

Paid riders on one of these buses can expect the following:

  • Local DJs to engage music-lovers on their way to Red Rocks or other venues in the Denver metro area
  • Special deals from local businesses that volunteer as designated pick-up spots
  • A funky ride decked out with murals painted by local artists

Popular, upcoming shows that Bus to Show is offering rides to include Lord Huron at Fiddler’s Green Amphitheatre on June 11, the Dirty Heads on June 25 at Red Rocks and Hillary Duff on July 20, also at Red Rocks. See the full line-up of events here.

Happy concert-going!
