The PBR (Professional Bull Riders) is to bull riding what the NFL is to football or the NBA to basketball… As big as it gets. But sadly, the organization that has been headquartered in Colorado for 17 years has moved.
The PBR has been located on the “Riverwalk” in Pueblo, Colorado since 2007, when it moved from Colorado Springs.
Andrew Giangola, the PBR’s Vice President of Strategic Communications, confirmed the departure via email writing, “The organization’s official HQ is now in Fort Worth (Texas), where PBR World Finals is held, and we have weekly events at the Cowtown Coliseum.”
“PBR will still have a presence in the Riverwalk building into mid-2025,” Giangola said.
The move impacts 40 jobs which will relocate from Pueblo to Texas, Giangola said. PBR will “maintain a presence in the Riverwalk building into mid-2025,” he said.
The fate of the PBR Sports Performance Center, also in Pueblo, is up in the air. The Pro Bull Riders Sports Performance Center opened in 2019 in the Pueblo Convention Center building, illed as the first training center of its kind for future bull riders, other western sports athletes, as well as amateur and professional athletes across a range of sports.
