Broncos Take Down Chiefs at Arrowhead, Win 20–13

Broncos Country got the best possible present as Denver walked into Arrowhead and walked out with a huge 20–13 win over the Kansas City Chiefs.
The Broncos moved the ball well throughout the game, even with a few costly drops and a run game that never fully got going the way head coach Sean Payton had hoped earlier in the week. Still, Denver knew the task at hand — win in one of the toughest environments in the NFL, against a Chiefs team playing in what could be Travis Kelce’s final home game and led by a third-string quarterback.
And the Broncos delivered.
RJ Harvey led the ground attack with 43 rushing yards, while Bo Nix added 42 yards on the ground himself. Nix also spread the ball around efficiently, completing passes to eight different receivers as Denver controlled the tempo and played smart, mistake-free football.
Things got tense late. After a RJ Harvey touchdown with under two minutes remaining, the Chiefs quickly marched down the field and reached the Denver 30-yard line with a chance to tie the game. But once again, the Broncos defense rose to the moment, shutting the door on fourth down and sealing the victory.
Now, Broncos Country turns its attention to the weekend scoreboard. Denver will be rooting for help from the Texans and Jets as they look to secure the clearest path to an AFC West title and potentially the No. 1 seed in the conference.
Next up, the Broncos return home to host the Los Angeles Chargers in a matchup that could decide the AFC West crown. Kickoff time for Week 18 will be announced later Sunday, and all signs point toward another primetime showdown at Mile High.
