Both Colorado Scheels Stores Will Trade You a New American Flag for Your Worn Out One This Month

Jun 2, 2023, 3:31 PM

First of all, if you haven’t visited a Scheels store yet, you have to go! These places are amazing. Technically they’re sporting goods stores, but they have about everything including a full-sized Ferris Wheel you can ride, and a giant saltwater aquarium! Now they also have something cool for owners of worn-out American flags…

Both of Colorado’s Scheels stores, the one in Johnstown and the one in Colorado Springs will host their annual Flag Exchange on June 10th.

Bring your faded or frayed American flags to Scheels for a dignified disposal and they will replace your retired flag with a new one for FREE.

In Johnstown, the event runs 9:00am to 11:00am or until supplies last. There will be 200 flags at this event.

In Colorado Springs, the event runs from 9:30am to 4:00pm or until supplies run out. There will be 150 flags at this event.
