Beyond The Badge – Trooper Marc Bornhoft

This week, we salute Trooper Marc Bornhoft of the Colorado State Patrol.  In his law enforcement career, Trooper Bornhoft was recognized as the 2008 National NLEC Instructor of the Year for providing leadership and knowledge to younger drivers.  When a crisis hits or tragedy hits the community, Marc is the first to volunteer or render aid.  From golf tournaments, to auctions, bake sales, he’s always ready to spearhead fundraising efforts for critical causes.  He has served as a Haxtun Junior High Head Football Coach, Haxtun High School Football Defensive Coordinator, a Volunteer youth basketball coach, Haxtun Volunteer Fireman, and the Chair of the Economic Development Committee for Phillips County.  Having Trooper Bornhoft wearing the badge makes us safer, and our community a better place.  Thank you – Trooper Marc Bornhoft – for going – Beyond the Badge.
