Beyond the Badge – Sergeant Kate Herrlinger

This week, we honor Sergeant Kate Herrlinger of the Arvada Police Department.  Sgt. Herrlinger has contributed her skills in many areas – including Community Response, Tactics Instructor, Crime Prevention Class Instructor, Field Training Officer for new recruits and as an advisor to the Youth Explorer Post. She pioneered the Olde Town Liaison Officer position, connecting Arvada’s homeless population with health and substance abuse clinics, food and shelter.

Sgt. Herrlinger is a member of the National Association of Field Training Officers, National Association of Women in Law Enforcement and Rocky Mountain Women in Law Enforcement.
