Beyond the Badge – Edgewater Police Department

This week, we honor four Edgewater Police Officers whose prompt action led to the apprehension of two carjackers.  In September of 2016 a resident reported having her vehicle stolen at gunpoint at 20^th and Kendall Streets.  Through the officers’ rapport with members of the community, the vehicle was located and the suspects were identified and arrested.  This incident demonstrated a tremendous collaborative investigation.  This example of tenacity, hard work and connection with the community represents all law enforcement officers in the Denver area who keep us safe.
