Ben Gallaher brought “Kinda Can’t Say No,” “I’ll Take You” and “Stomp” to KYGO’s Performance Studio.
Yes, the 34-year-old is a singer-songwriter, but it feels more accurate to describe him as a singer-songwriter-guitarist, his distinct guitar playing being a hallmark of his music. It didn’t take the native Pennsylvanian long to find this calling – he started playing guitar and drums at just 6 years old.
Fulfilling a lifelong dream, he attended Belmont University in Nashville and graduated in 2014 – the same year he signed a record deal with Sony Music Nashville – with a degree in entertainment industry studies. In the years that followed, he spent time building up his discography comprised of two EPs and two albums: “Ben Gallaher – EP” (2017), “Bullet” (2025), Country in the House (2023) and “Time” (2025).
It’s been a busy few months for Gallaher, both personally and professionally: not only did he release his second album “Time” in September of last year, but his second son, Jagger, was born in April, he made his national TV debut on “The Kelly Clarkson Show” on May 6 and he released his take on the “National Anthem” just a couple of weeks later.
He wraps up his current tour on October 17 in New Market, Tenn.
