Murphy Huston

Murphy Huston has been on the air for over 52 years, 34 of them in Denver. Our of the 34, he has spent 24 of those years on KOSI, mainly doing the morning show. Murphy enjoys being involved in the community and helping others. He is pleased to have won several awards along the way, including the “7 Everyday Hero” award. For years, Murphy was the face of the Colorado Lotto drawings weekly on CBS 4. It has always been his goal to put a smile on your face and make your day a little better. Murphy is blessed with a wonderful wife, Carol, who he has known since they were 15 and now married 48 years. They have raised 4 children in Denver: Sam, Carrie, Haley and Elizabeth. Now, they have seven grandchildren. Murphy loves sports and is a real Denver “Homer.” He is trying to figure out his golf game.
