Arena Football is Officially Coming Back to Colorado – Welcome the Colorado Spartans

If you were in Colorado from 2003-2008 you likely remember John Elway’s Arena Football team, the Colorado Crush, right? They even won the league’s championship in 2005! In 2015 the Crush name was revived that team played a couple of seasons in Loveland in the Indoor Football League, but haven’t been heard from since…

The Crush are not coming back, but Arena Football is coming back to Colorado!

Enter the new National Arena League and the Colorado Spartans !!

The Spartans will be joining the league in 2024 and will be playing all home games at the Blue Arena (formerly Bud Events Center) in Loveland, starting in March of 2024. Former player, Tony Thompson, is the Spartans Owner and CEO.
