ACM Awards to Return to Las Vegas in 2026

On the heels of the CMA Awards, country music fans now have another major headline: the Academy of Country Music Awards are officially returning to Las Vegas in 2026 after spending the last three years in Dallas. The 61st ACM Awards will be held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in May, marking a return to one of the show’s most iconic locations.
The last time the ACMs were in Las Vegas, the ceremony took place at Allegiant Stadium, home of the Raiders. In 2026, the awards shift back to a more traditional venue — and they’re also shifting days. The ACMs will take place on Sunday, May 17, 2026, and will stream exclusively on Prime Video and the Amazon Music channel on Twitch.
Last year’s ACM Awards were hosted by Reba McEntire and featured performances from some of the biggest names in country music, including Blake Shelton, Eric Church, Lainey Wilson, Alan Jackson, Brooks & Dunn, and more.
Among the night’s biggest winners was Lainey Wilson, who took home four awards, including Entertainer of the Year. One of the most celebrated wins of the night came when Cody Johnson and songwriter Josh Phillips won Song of the Year for “Dirt Cheap.”
Thinking about making the trip to Vegas for the show?
Tickets will go on sale early next year, with nominees and performers to be announced in the spring.
