A Denver store gives away free dresses to those in need for homecoming dances

Sep 9, 2024, 4:52 PM | Updated: Sep 10, 2024, 7:54 am

It’s homecoming season, but sadly there are a bunch of girls in Denver who can’t afford a dress for their big events. Good news is there is a place here to help!

Bella Boutique, located at 2129 S. Sheridan Blvd., is a nonprofit that gives free formal wear to teenagers for homecoming, prom or any event.

The boutique has served over 2,300 students in a decade, and hopes to serve another 550 students this year.

All of the Bella Boutique dresses, shoes and accessories are donated by the community, with a few larger donations from Macy’s and David’s Bridal.

If you would like info on donating formal wear to Bella Boutique, you can get it here.
