Road Closure info for Colfax Marathon

Almost 30,000 people will be taking part in the Rocky Mountain regions largest marathon, the 20th Colfax Marathon this weekend.

With that will also bring many road closures and transit delays.

The Colfax Marathon begins Sunday morning and will bring the following closures from 5am to around 1pm:

• Colfax Avenue between Colorado Blvd and garrison Street in Lakewood
• 17th Street in Downtown Denver
• Portion of Larimer Street in Downtown Denver

RTD will be implementing some detours beginning at 5:30am through noon on bus and light rail routes along Colfax. For a full list of detours and delays: Click Here from RTD

This year the Colfax Marathon will feature a 2-day expo at Empower Field and a 5k, full marathon, half marathon, Urban 10 Miler and Marathon Relay.
