Snow is a possibility during the first few days of April in Denver

It feels like Mother Nature may be confused after giving us very little snow in Colorado this winter. So no one would be surprised if it snowed into July this summer. I can’t say that’ll actually happen, but it does look like an early-April snowstorm is likely…
Our partners at 9News say that two snow events could happen in Colorado next week. The first system arriving Tuesday or Wednesday (Mar. 31 or April 1) will bring minimal Colorado mountain snow. The second, more significant weather event is forecast for late next week, roughly April 2 through April 5 or 6, with heavier mountain snow and at least some snow throughout the Denver-metro area.
9News does urge caution as these long-range weather models have been poor recently. but it may be worth leaving your winter coat out of storage for now.
