DIA announces Free 6-week Summer concert lineup

While most people head to Denver International Airport to fly out to their favorite destinations, this Summer many people may be heading to DIA for a free concert!

DIA has announced their “Concerts on the Fly” Summer concert series which will run 6 weeks beginning August 2nd.

The performances be every Sunday and will include:

  • August 2nd – Ben Tankard and Karyn White
  • August 9th- Jackiem Joyner and Brian Simpson
  • August 16th – Anthony David and Mindi Abair
  • August 23rd – Wash Park Band and Eric Roberson
  • August 30th – Hot Lunch Band and Kirk Whalum
  • September 6th – Adrian Crutchfield with Big Pocket and Con Funk Shun

The shows will all begin at 2:30pm and tickets will be released at 10am on Monday a week before the performance.

The shows will be outside at DIA’s 82,000 square feet open air plaza between Jeppesen Terminal and the Westin and are scheduled to run rain or shine, and concert goers can bring lawn chairs or blankets as there will not be seats.

The shows will be all ages.
