At this point I don’t care what they call it, I am just excited that a passenger train is coming to Colorado’s front range to help alleviate traffic on I-25!
The Front Range Passenger Rail District announced four finalists for the name of the train that is set to launch in 2029 between Pueblo and Fort Collins, and you can vote for your favorite.
The rail service plans stations in Fort Collins, Loveland, Longmont, Boulder, Louisville, Broomfield, Westminster, Denver, Littleton, Douglas County, Colorado Springs, Pueblo, and Trinidad.
The Colorado Connector (“CoCo”), Colorado Ranger, Front Range Express Destinations (“FRED”), and RangeLink were announced as the finalists. The public can vote for their favorite train name through March 23.
