My six-year-old has broken things in the store a time or two, and there is nothing more embarrassing… Or at least so I thought!
Law enforcement in the Pagosa Springs, Colorado-area have launched an investigation into major damage that was caused during a local construction project with the Colorado Department of Transportation describing the act as a “costly setback.”
The act? Someone walked through wet cement.
CDOT says someone walked through freshly poured cement in front of Pagosa Springs’ Liberty Theatre and Galles Real Estate building on the night of November 11 to November 12, causing damages exceeding $10,000 in the process.
CDOT noted that the sidewalk was inside of an active construction zone and that whoever caused the damage jumped a safety barrier to do so. The sidewalk was covered with a protective tarp overnight and the impressions left behind by the alleged vandal were described as shoe prints in men’s size 11 to 12.
Law enforcement has asked the public for video footage that may help solve the case.
