This year marks the centennial anniversary of the Grand Ole Opry – the longest-running radio show in the world and one of the most important radio programs in broadcasting history – with Grand Ole Opry 100 celebrations all year long. Radio hosts from all around the country have been asked to be a guest announcer at the celebration, and Colorado Native and 98.5 KYGO afternoon host, Shawn Patrick, is among the distinguished hosts.
Shawn, a Greeley native, spoke with 9NEWS in preparation of his second appearance on the Opry stage. Watch the interview below:
