Remember a few years back when Gamestop went viral because their stock skyrocketed for a bit? Well, they’re going viral again, but this time it’s because of one store in Colorado…
A GameStop in Glendale, Colorado went viral recently because it has a mural on one of it’s outdoor windows that has not changed since 2007. The store has had the same video game promotion mural since the release of “Halo 3”.
Video game enthusiasts found the mural hilarious, considering that it has been almost 20 years since the Xbox 360 game was released. The promotional mural features Master Chief, the main character of the Halo series.
@VideoGameHstry posted the photo on X, and GameStop responded by saying, “We’ll take it down when something better comes out”.
Because the video game is still regarded as one of the best of all time, many X users said that they hope that they never remove the nearly 20-year mural.
We’ll take it down when something better comes out. https://t.co/4uzvNmCuKA
