Colorado in bottom ten on new safest states list

We always say that every state has it’s rough parts, but it’s starting to look like Colorado has more than most…

WalletHub’s list of the safest states in the country has just come out where they rank states on 52 key indicators of safety in five categories: personal and residential safety, financial safety, road safety, workplace safety and emergency preparedness.

Colorado is in the bottom ten, coming in at number seven on the least safe states list. Our worst categories was the “personal and residential safety” section where we came in at number 45 out of 50 states. The best category for Colorado was the “financial safety” portion, where we ranked 17th.

Vermont ranked as the safest state, while Louisiana was the least safe. See the full study here.
