Denver’s RTD is offering up $4,000 as a signing bonus for new bus drivers

Denver’s Regional Transportation District (RTD) is in urgent need of bus drivers, and as a result they are making candidates a pretty sweet deal! Starting pay for a bus operator is $27.65 per hour. Those who are hired will receive a $4,000 signing bonus and paid training.
RTD says the training is not easy and lasts about 12 weeks, but RTD will even provide the training to get a CDL for those who don’t have, as it is required to drive their buses.
RTD is hosting a job fair for bus operators and other jobs on Wednesday, Sept. 24 from 2 – 5 p.m. at RTD Platte Division (3333 Ringsby Ct., Denver, CO 80216).
Those who are interested can either show up in person for the job fair or apply online.
