You’ve likely seen the reports that people are leaving Colorado at a rapid pace. I’ve always wondered where they’re going, though. Now we have a little insight on that…

U-Haul just released its migration report for 2025, and it shows where people are going when they leave Colorado, but also where folks are coming from as they move into our state.

The moving company found that Texas is the state where the most Colorado residents are moving. Austin, Dallas and Houston are all in the top five places. Phoenix and Salt Lake City also made the top five places where the most Coloradans are headed.

The top five states people are moving into Colorado from are as follows:

  1. Texas
  2. Arizona
  3. California
  4. Florida
  5. New Mexico

Check out the full U-Haul report here.
