Last week, an orangutan escaped its enclosure here at the Denver Zoo, and now another animal is on the loose, as a zebra has is escaped from its home in Tennessee.
The zebra, which is legal to have as a pet in Tennessee, has been on the loose and was even running around causing “havoc” just outside of Nashville on I-24.
The zebra ran off into the woods over the weekend and, as of this morning, is still being searched for.
The owner who lost the zebra on Saturday had only just gotten the zebra the night before.
According to animals.net, zebras are very difficult to domesticate, are unpredictable and quite aggressive, making them bad pets, as they require more handling and desensitization than an average horse.
