The City of Black Hawk invites you to experience the 2025 Founders’ Day Celebration on Saturday, June 28, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM. This one-of-a-kind event brings the community together to celebrate the rich history and spirit of Black Hawk with an exciting lineup of activities and performances.
Event Highlights Include:
Live Performances: Enjoy an array of performances, from the lively Backroom Cabaret chorus line dancers to the classic Wild Bunch Gamblin’ Shootout Show, and local bands like Sugar Britches, The Queen Bees, Kind Mountain Band, and Sisters of Rock.
Period Costumes & Themed Activities: Take a step back in time as performers and visitors don period costumes, bringing history to life on the streets of Black Hawk.
Artisan Vendors & Food Trucks: Explore the variety of local crafts and grab a bite from the food trucks offering tasty eats and refreshing beverages throughout the day.
Location: The celebration will take place at the Hard District in Black Hawk, where the community gathers to experience this annual celebration.
