Play tennis with a pro at the Golden City Open to raise awareness and funds for Robbie’s Hope during Mental Health Awareness Month.
May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and one way to take part is to attend the Golden City Open, an annual pro-am tennis tournament featuring pros from different parts of the world. The event, held at the Club at Rolling Hills in Golden begins at 5 p.m. on Friday, May 2. Guests will have a unique opportunity to bid on pros and compete with them in an eight-team tournament in one epic night! All spectators, playing or not, can enjoy music, dinner and a pros exhibition.
There is no cost to attend, but guests are encouraged to support Robbie’s Hope by bidding on pro-am teams. The Club at Rolling Hills in Golden is located at 15707 W. 26th Avenue. Proceeds from the Golden City Open Pro Am Tennis Tournament will directly benefit Robbie’s Hope Foundation’s ongoing efforts to combat teen suicide through the distribution of mental health resources, such as the newly developed Athlete Mental Health Handbook.
