WATCH – Denver native Ingrid Andress returns to singing with the ‘National Anthem’ at a Colorado Avalanche game

It was a rough time for Highlands Ranch, Colorado’s Ingrid Andress last summer. Given the spotlight at the MLB Home Run Derby prior to the All-Star game, the country singer performed “The Star Spangled Banner” and it…wasn’t good. She would later reveal she was drunk on the biggest stage of her career and screwed up, putting herself in rehab shortly after.

Friday night (Feb. 28), the singer took another swing at “National Anthem,” and this time things went much better.

In her home state of Colorado, Andress sang before a Colorado Avalanche hockey game, and while people formed their own opinions, pro and con, the singer seemed pretty pleased with the results. “We’re back, baby,” Andress wrote on social media, “Thank you Avalanche.”
