There have been 17 official claims about red orb-like UFOs in Colorado since last month

The National UFO Reporting Center has posted 17 claims of “unidentified aerial phenomenon” sightings taking place in Colorado since the start of 2024. Most seem to have to do with soundless red orbs being spotted sailing through the air.
Most of the sightings have been up and down the I25 corridor from Longmont, through the Denver-area, and south into Colorado Springs.
Many of the sightings have also been recorded, and the videos, like this one, are making the rounds online.
There is no word from anyone with sort of expertise as to what the sightings may be yet. So is it aliens? drones? military activity?
