Immersive Harry Potter exhibition is coming to Denver this summer

May 5, 2026, 4:23 PM

Denver is about to become the most magical city on the Front Range — and not because of the May snowstorm.

Harry Potter: The Exhibition,” described as the most extensive touring Harry Potter exhibition ever created, will open June 26 in the South Broadway district, organizers announced Tuesday. The exhibit will take over 417 S. Broadway, the former Ace Hardware store near Alameda Avenue and Broadway.

Tickets go on sale May 14. Fans who join the waitlist at harrypotterexhibition.com will get access to a presale beginning May 13.

The exhibition, which has drawn more than 4 million visitors globally, is a production of Warner Bros. Discovery Global Experiences, Imagine and Eventim Live. It celebrates iconic moments, characters, settings and creatures from the Harry Potter films and the “Fantastic Beasts” series, as well as the Tony Award-winning Broadway production “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.”

The experience goes well beyond glass cases and velvet ropes. Visitors can test their Quidditch reflexes, conjure a Patronus, try their hand at brewing potions and walk through re-created environments including the cupboard under the stairs, Hagrid’s hut and the Great Hall at Hogwarts. An audio guide unlocks rare commentary and behind-the-scenes stories about the films.

Authentic props and original costumes from the film productions are displayed throughout, and an exclusive retail space at the exit offers limited-edition prints, house mascot mugs, chocolate frog necklaces, Butterbeer and themed apparel — merchandise not available at any other Harry Potter experience, according to the exhibition’s organizers.

The exhibition is not Denver’s only wizarding world event this summer. A separate “DroneArt Show: Harry Potter” will light up the sky over Tivoli Quad on the Auraria Campus on July 10 and 11, featuring 1,200 illuminated drones performing synchronized aerial formations set to the franchise’s iconic soundtrack.
