Christmas is less than one week away, and many families will be flying. The TSA is already seeing a high number of items being confiscated, so they want to remind you not to do this…
At Denver International Airport, a sword hidden in a cane was one of the items the TSA found.
An official shared “It looks like a cane. It was brought by a 91-year-old woman on Saturday to the checkpoint, and when it was placed through the X-ray, because we do X-ray every piece of personal property people are traveling with, here’s what they found. This is called a cane sword. So, the cane is concealed in the handle of the sword itself. I’ve seen many of these during my time working for TSA.”
Stun guns are popular in carry-ons right now… especially pink ones. But, those can only be checked. The advice from the TSA is to check your stuff before going to the airport so you don’t get caught up in a confiscation drama.
