5-Year-Old Colorado Aviation Fan Spots Error in Southwest Training Manual

KUSA reported William Hines, a 5 year old from Arvada, noticed a discrepancy involving two terrain gauges that didn’t match. Not exactly light bedtime reading for most kindergartners, but William is clearly not most kindergartners.
His attention to detail caught the attention of Southwest CEO Bob Jordan, who invited William to the airline’s headquarters for a special tour.
During the visit, William got to climb into a flight simulator and play pilot — which is honestly a pretty solid reward for doing what the rest of us only pretend we do: actually reading the manual.
