Red Lobster, Macy’s, Foot Locker, Big Lots!, and Bed Bath & Beyond is not a list of retailers you want to be on as all of them are closing way more stores than they are opening… But now you can add Conn’s HomePlus to it.
Conn’s HomePlus, the 134-year-old home goods retailer, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection on Tuesday (July 23) and the company said 70 of its stores will close for good, including all six in Colorado.
Conn’s has listed every store that will close in the U.S. and said they are having an “everything must go” event in-store only.
According to the company’s website, all of the Conn’s locations in Colorado will close. Here they are:
- Arvada – 7360 W. 52nd Ave.
- Aurora – 60 S. Abilene St.
- Colorado Springs – 345 N. Academy Blvd.
- Fort Collins – 120 Bockman Dr.
- Sheridan-Englewood – 3950 River Point Parkway
- Thornton-Denver – 550 E. 102nd Ave.
The only Colorado location that will remain open is a distribution center in Denver at 2470 Airport Blvd.
